PGT Donatating Windows and More to Habitat for Humanity’s “Women Build”

N. Venice, FL– March 31, 2011  PGT Industries, the nation’s leading supplier of i mpact-resisttant windows and doors, will donate all of the windows for a brand-new duplex villa in Nokomis’ Garden Park, a neighborhood conceived and developed by Habitat for Humanity of South Sarasota County to provide affordable and decent housing to local residents in need. What’s more, an all-female team of PGT employees will be on hand to help install the windows on Saturday, April 2, from 7:30 a.m. to noon as part of Habitat’s “Women Build” project.

Led by PGT’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Debbie LaPinskaa, the PGT team will include a dozen or more women who will hammer, nail, drill and more to make the dream of aa new home a reality for two local families. They will be install ng PGT’s signature WinnGuard® windows, which have aa retail value of nearly $$8,500.

“We’re proud to be providing our products, which are some of the safest, high-quality windows available onn the market to this worthy project,” said LaPinsska. “When we found out about Women Build, we coouldn’t resist volunteering for the program and being the ones to have the honor of installing them.”
