PGT® Names Mick Ferrucci Vice President, Corporate Counsel and Secretary

VENICE, Fla., June 6, 2006 – Industries, the nation’s leading manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors, has named Mick Ferrucci Vice President, Corporate Counsel and Secretary. Ferrucci brings corporate legal and financial expertise from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, one of the country’s leading law firms.

Ferrucci was appointed to the newly created position to lead PGT in corporate governance and compliance as the company takes advantage of growth opportunities. On March 10, 2006, PGT filed a registration statement with the Securities Exchange Commission related to an initial public offering of its common stock.

In Ferrucci’s most recent position with Skadden, his practice focused on mergers, acquisitions, and sales of companies valued between $10 million and $8 billion, as well as IPOs and the restructuring of publicly traded notes. Additionally, at Skadden, Ferrucci worked on financial transactions involving PGT and has been providing ongoing corporate legal advice to PGT’s management and board of directors for the past two years.

Ferrucci began his legal career as in-house corporate counsel for Walker Digital, LLC, the parent company of priceline.com. He received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law, where he held a judicial externship with Judge Jane Roth, U.S. Third Court of Appeals, and graduated in the top 2 percent of his class. He also served on law review and received honors including Widener’s Outstanding Service Award and several Certificates of Achievement.

Prior to pursuing a career in law, Ferrucci worked for 14 years in admissions and financial aid at various independent schools located in New England and the mid-Atlantic region. He has authored several articles related to independent school admissions, financial aid and the law.

Originally from Rhode Island, Ferrucci holds an M.A. from the University of Connecticut and a B.A. from Colby College. He and his wife, Kay, and their two children, Mickey, 13, and Olivia, 9, live locally.
