C. Douglas Cross to Oversee Vinyl Window and Door Product Line
VENICE, Fla, March 13, 2007 – PGT President and Chief Executive Officer Rod Hershberger announced today the appointment of C. Douglas Cross to PGT’s leadership team. As Vice President, Cross will oversee PGT’s vinyl products and markets. He brings over 25 years of manufacturing and leadership experience to the organization.
“With over 20 years experience in the fenestration industry, he enhances our ability to implement aggressive plans for controlled, profitable growth in the vinyl market,” stated Hershberger.
Prior to joining PGT, Cross owned Custom Window Products which provides architectural shapes for the vinyl market. His previous experience includes six years as President of Atrium, North Carolina, and 13 years as President of Ellison Windows and Doors. Additionally, he led Ellison’s transition from aluminum sales of $6 million to vinyl sales of over $140 million. “We are very excited about Doug joining the PGT team, said Debbie LaPinska, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
